Postmedia Network Inc. has announced the expansion of its parcel delivery service into Newfoundland and Saskatchewan, strengthening its national presence in underserved communities.
The move builds on Postmedia Parcel Service’s existing operations in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and British Columbia, and is aimed at improving delivery reliability and connectivity in rural and remote areas.
“Extending our reach into Newfoundland and Saskatchewan is about more than logistics,” said Andrew MacLeod, president and CEO of Postmedia. “It’s about ensuring Canadians in every region have access to reliable delivery options, no matter where they live.”
The service, which supports eCommerce and retail delivery, is already operational in the two new provinces, with further regional expansions in development. Postmedia says the initiative promotes local economic activity and reinforces its role as a trusted coast-to-coast service provider.
