HOUSTONMitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc. (MCFA), the provider of Cat lift trucks in the United States, Canada and Mexico, has introduced a new series of Cat 4,500 – 6,500 lb. capacity sit-down electric counterbalance lift trucks. The new Cat EC23N – EC30LN series is designed for greater productivity without sacrificing on comfort.

The EC23N – EC30LN models have advanced AC motors and regenerative braking systems, and run longer on one battery charge. The two-stage hydraulic system determines the optimum motor speed, resulting in reduced energy consumption and longer run times.

The two-stage hydraulic system allows these cushion tire lift trucks to provide precise load handling with fast lift speeds and less energy consumption.

The integrated, computer-based, Operator Presence Detection System (PDS) uses both audible and visual indicators to alert the operator of potentially hazardous situations.

The full-suspension vinyl seat, including lumbar support, can be adjusted front and back to give the operator a comfortable operating position.

Operators can effortlessly control the hydraulic mast and attachment functions, horn and travel direction with fingertip controls which are integrated with the optional seat-mounted arm rest.

“We’re proud to introduce the new Cat electric cushion tire lift truck series to the North and South American market,” said Antonio Serrano, product marketing manager at MCFA.

“Our Cat electric cushion tire lift truck series helps set a new standard for operation – from excellent design and ergonomics to longer run times – making it an ideal solution for hardworking warehouse environments.”
