Carrier Logistics Inc. (CLI) has unveiled a new artificial intelligence-powered module designed to eliminate manual data entry in less-than-truckload (LTL) freight operations.
The AI BOL Extraction module automatically captures data from Bills of Lading (BOLs) and populates CLI’s FACTS freight management system in real time, allowing for faster and more accurate shipment creation.
“This technology directly addresses one of the most persistent challenges in our industry—capturing critical shipment data quickly and accurately,” said Ben Wiesen, president of Carrier Logistics.
CLI says the tool will reduce errors, cut delays and improve overall operational efficiency by automating a traditionally manual and time-consuming process. The system integrates seamlessly with the FACTS platform and enables earlier optimization and dispatching.
