Cleo launches chargeback prevention and supply chain orchestration tools for retail suppliers

Cleo has launched a new Chargeback Prevention solution and Supply Chain Orchestration Console aimed at helping retail suppliers reduce compliance failures and improve supply chain visibility.

The company says the new tools, built on its Cleo Integration Cloud platform, are designed to help suppliers identify risks before they result in chargebacks, invoice deductions or lost revenue.

Cleo says suppliers often face compliance issues tied to late documentation, disputed shipment data and coordination challenges among logistics providers and trading partners. The company says these issues can result in penalties ranging from about $100 per violation to as much as five per cent of invoice value, along with indirect costs such as reduced order volumes and lost shelf space.

Cleo says the Chargeback Prevention solution is intended to allow suppliers to measure compliance with trading partner service-level agreements, detect risks through milestone tracking and assess revenue impacts tied to operational performance.

The company says the platform includes features such as proactive risk notifications, performance monitoring, retailer and carrier scorecards and historical trend analysis linked to revenue outcomes.

The company’s new Supply Chain Orchestration Console is designed to provide companies with centralized visibility into supply chain operations by combining performance metrics, service-level agreement tracking and partner scorecards into a single interface.

“Supply chain orchestration is about real-time coordination and synchronization of processes, partners and data that brings context directly into execution,” said Mahesh Rajasekharan, president and CEO of Cleo. “Cleo Integration Cloud already acts as the nervous system of the global supply chain, connecting ecosystems at massive scale. With Cleo’s Chargeback Prevention solution and the new orchestration Console, we’re bridging the gap between what is happening, what will happen and what to do next, empowering companies to stop business exceptions from becoming costly failures.”

Cleo says the new offerings are intended to help companies improve supply chain performance, strengthen trading partner relationships and reduce operational disruptions.
