NEW BREMEN, Ohio – Crown Equipment Corporation has introduced two new heavy-duty internal combustion forklifts. With the introduction of the Crown C-G Series and C-D Series, the company’s pneumatic tire IC forklift is now available with capacities from 8,000 up to 20,000 pounds.
Crown’s IC forklifts are intended for manufacturing plants, construction sites, brick and lumber yards, and recycling centers where operators need versatility to handle multiple tasks and reliability to navigate rough terrain, unpredictable weather and heavy loads.
They use industrial diesel and LPG engines – a 4.6-litre V6 LPG or turbocharged 3.4-litre diesel – and transmissions that deliver long-term performance and endurance. The forklifts have industrial dual radiators that provide separate cooling for the powertrain in order to reduce fluid temperatures for extended reliability.
They also have oil-cooled disc brakes and a five-year, 10,000-hour warranty.
An optional hard cab offers visibility, protection and comfort with optional air conditioning, heat, panoramic mirror, fan and rearview camera. Other attributes to increase operator comfort and safety include:
- Clear view mast and overhead guard design
- Large mirrors
- Easy-to-read gauges
- Wide-open leg room
- Tilt steering column
- Suspension seat

An array of additional, optional accessories and attachments are available to fit a variety of work applications. This includes rear view cameras and cabin options that can be equipped with heat and air conditioning to help operators gain improved comfort, visibility and performance while working in unpredictable environments.
