PITTSBURGH, PA—The Seegrid automated GT10 tow tractor product has been named a 2014 Award Finalist by the internationally renowned Edison Awards. The distinguished awards inspired by Thomas Edison’s persistence and inventiveness, recognizes innovation, creativity and ingenuity in the global economy.

Award winners will be announced at the Edison Awards Annual Gala April 30th, held in the historic Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco, CA.

The GT10 is an unmanned tow tractor. With a load attached the flexible AGV travels without wire, laser, tape, or magnet. No facility or environment changes are required for Seegrid robots to navigate. The vision-guided technology allows the GT10 tow tractor to use the existing infrastructure to map its guidance.
Edison Award nominees are judged by more than 3,000 senior business executives and academics from across the nation whose votes acknowledge the Finalists’ success in meeting the award’s stringent criteria of quality.
