HOUSTON, Texas: Cat Lift Trucks has released its next generation of 2,268- to 2,948-kg (5,000- to 6,500-lb) electric pneumatic tire lift trucks.

The 2EPC5000-2EP6500 Series trucks have 80-volt electric motors. With sealed wet-disc brakes, electrical components and connectors, the trucks are built for use in harsh environments.

They have the ability to run up to two shifts on one battery charge in most applications. They also offer a 10 percent increase in energy efficiency over the previous generation.

In terms of operator comfort, the new trucks are designed with full-seat suspension and a floating cabin. They also come with a highly adjustable operator compartment and standard fingertip hydraulic controls. An enclosed cabin is optional.
