Safety straps prevent pallets from pushing through the back of racking.

KNOXVILLE, TENN. – Adrian’s Safety Solutions’ line of rack safety products offers benefits ranging from pallet push-through prevention to solutions for work area protection or pick-and-pack operations. The pallet rack strap offers employers the ability to protect employees and goods as well as be compliant with longitudinal flue space requirements under the U.S. National Fire Protection Association, NFPA code 230.

According to statistics from the National Fire Protection Association, fire departments in the U.S. respond to an estimated average of 1,210 fires in warehouses every year. Warehouse fires result in an annual average of $155 million in direct property damage; these fires resulted in the death or injury of 22 individuals.

In addition, the 2018 Liberty Mutual Workplace Safety Index ranks being struck by an object or equipment as the fourth worst cause of injury in U.S. workplaces, costing companies an estimated $5.3 billion this year alone.

The Rack Safety Strap helps prevent injury and product loss by acting as a barrier to keep large, palletized, or shrink-wrapped items from pushing through into the flue space or falling into a work area. The Rack Safety Strap does not require any tools or retrofitting, installs in seconds, and is more affordable than many other rack safety solutions such as traditional netting and metal mesh.

Adrian’s Rack Safety Straps are made from 2-inch premium cargo webbing and feature specially designed hardware that can be attached to the existing pallet rack upright within seconds. They come in standard sizes for bays ranging from eight to 13 feet and can also be made in custom sizes.
