Trucking HR Canada expands employer resource library with 50 new tools for 2026

Trucking HR Canada says it is rolling out more than 50 new and updated employer resources for 2026, marking the largest expansion of its HR management library to date.

The organization said the tools are designed exclusively for trucking and logistics employers and provide practical, ready-to-use solutions to support recruitment and retention, strengthen performance management and help companies navigate regulatory requirements.

“A strong and resilient trucking and logistics sector is essential to Canada’s economy,” said Angela Splinter, CEO, THRC. “Employers must remain compliant in a rapidly changing regulatory environment while also meeting the evolving expectations of today’s workforce. This significant update to our resource library ensures they have practical, industry-specific tools to strengthen their businesses — and the supply chains that depend on them.”

The first phase of the 2026 rollout focuses on recruitment and onboarding. New and updated materials include guides on building recruitment rubrics, creating job postings, interview best practices, onboarding checklists and performance management templates.

THRC said the resources are particularly valuable for small and mid-sized carriers, where staff often manage multiple roles and require turnkey HR tools to save time and support compliance.

Additional resources, including AI-enabled tools and e-learning solutions, are planned throughout 2026. The first wave of materials is now available through the THRC Learning Centre.

The project is funded in part by the Government of Alberta.
