Second career for pallets, containers

A new website aims to give pallets and containers a new life after they’ve been used. The website, run by US-based Flexcon Container, allows anyone with unneeded containers or pallets to list their items. Buyers looking for used or overstock product can navigate the site to find the container or pallet that best suits their needs.

FROM THE MM&D JULY/AUGUST 2011 PRINT EDITION: A new website aims to give pallets and containers a new life after they’ve been used. The website, run by US-based Flexcon Container, allows anyone with unneeded containers or pallets to list their items. Buyers looking for used or overstock product can navigate the site to find the container or pallet that best suits their needs.

Along with helping connect people to pallets, the site also promotes sustainability, says Flexcon Container, since it allows organizations to re-use products rather than making new ones and throwing out the old.

Those looking to buy or sell first register on the site and can then search for pallets and containers by length, height, volume, condition (used/refurbished, new or overstock) or location.
