Thorsons Marketing Associates Canada Inc. honoured with SmartWay award

TORONTO, Ont.–Thorsons Marketing Associates Canada Inc, a transportation company based in Toronto, Ontario Canada specializing only in enclosed vehicle transport, was honored with a SmartWay® Excellence Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as “a true industry leader in freight supply chain environmental performance and energy efficiency.”

Thorsons adopted fuel-saving technology in fleet equipment and worked with drivers to save fuel costs with improved IMP, reduce carbon dioxide emissions, and generate savings in their cost of operations, the company said in a release.

Thorsons Marketing Associates Canada Inc. is an enclosed vehicle transport company established in 1992 that hauls vehicles directly for the major manufacturers of North America, dealers and private individuals. We move vehicles for the purpose of distribution to the dealerships, show movements, engineered prototype testing, cold and hot weather testing, film production, and demonstration tours.

Thorsons Marketing Associates Canada Inc. was one of 55 companies to receive this distinction, representing the best environmental performers of SmartWay’s 3000-plus Partners. The Excellence Awardees were honored at the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals annual conference held in Denver, Colorado.

The company presently operates 15 trucks moving vehicles to/from any points within Canada and to/from any points in the United States.

Thorsons Marketing is Fast/C-TPAT approved, CSA approved and PIP approved as a carrier crossing the Canada/United States border.
