MONTREAL, Que.–Air Canada Cargo has announced new routes and more capacity in December. The company begins direct, year-round service to and from Rio de Janeiro and Panama City.
Additional flights, as well as aircraft upgauges, continue throughout December and into January, including to and from San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Latin America.
Starting December 17 for the holiday period, Air Canada Cargo has additional flights on key routes connecting to the Toronto hub: Vancouver, Calgary, Halifax, and Saint John.
Air Canada Cargo will also continue its network and fleet expansion throughout 2015.
Network highlights for 2015 include:
Delhi: Starting November, Air Canada Cargo will offer year-round direct service between Delhi, India and Toronto. The four times weekly flight will be operated by the first of its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
Dubai: Year-round direct, service between Dubai and Toronto also starts in November. Operated by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, three times weekly.
Amsterdam: Year-round, direct between Toronto-Pearson and Amsterdam starts June 4, operated with a Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, up to six times weekly.
Paris double-daily: Service from both Toronto and Montreal-Trudeau to Paris-Charles de Gaulle will benefit from additional flights from June to September and be operated with Boeing 767-300ER
Montreal – Venice: Direct service twice weekly between Montreal and Venice starts May 14.
Osaka: Direct service between Vancouver and Osaka, Japan is scheduled to start May 1, operating up to five times per week with a Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft will also operate on more Asian routes in 2015, including:
Vancouver – Beijing in February
Vancouver – Seoul in March
