Airborne launches Small Business Center

Airborne Express has launched an initiative aimed at desktop shippers, called the “Small Business Center”.

The Small Business Center comes equipped with a variety of enhancements to help all business customers speed up and simplify the shipping process and is combined with new web-enabled tools.

Business shippers may now access the Small Business Center from the carrier’s home page at Airborne.com, to sign up for a new account, receive information on product and service options and manage their shipping activity.

A comparative rate analysis tool that gives small business shippers the ability to instantly compare Airborne’s rates to those of other carriers, while an enhanced service calculator lets all customers determine for any shipment the available delivery services and associated pricing zone and transit times, including the new 10:30 Urgent A.M. Guaranteed Service as well as overnight air express, next afternoon and second day delivery.

In the fall, Airborne will introduce ShipExchange as a major upgrade to its existing eServices shipping application.
