Akro-Mils appoints WSI as nationwide distributor

In a move that it claims will strengthen the position of both companies in the Canadian marketplace, returnable container provider Akro-Mils Canada has appointed Warehouse Systems Inc (WSI) as a nationwide distributor for its material handling and related products, including containers, pallets, carts and platform trucks.

Akro-Mils, a long-established company in North America, began promoting its product in Canada last year under the name Akro-Mils Canada, based in Brampton, Ont.. WSI, just over a year old, have facilities in five provinces with more planned soon. Its 218-page catalogue includes products for racking, storage, lifting and safety requirements.

In recent months, Akro-Mils has also launched a range of material handling transport products, including platform trucks, tables and carts, hand trucks and dollies.
