Alex Leivici named CEO of GeoLogistics Americas Inc.

GeoLogistics Corporation has appointed Alex Leivici as CEO of its Americas division effective January 15, 2004. Leivici joins GeoLogistics from a long career with Panalpina, Inc. where he was most recently Senior Vice President of the freight forwarder’s Northeast U.S. region.

A native of Austria, Leivici has more than 25 years experience in the logistics and freight forwarding industry.

“Alex Leivici brings deep experience in our industry and a strong commitment to customers. We expect that his leadership will further advance the improvements recently achieved in our Americas region and add to our strength globally," said Bill Flynn, President and CEO of GeoLogistics Corporation.

Leivici is based in the company’s Santa Ana, Calif. headquarters and reports directly to Flynn.
