Amtrak train and freight train collide in U.S.

An Amtrak train collided with a freight train near Wendover in Western Utah early Thursday.
The Amtrak train derailed and caught fire, but reports said passengers escaped without serious injury.
The train was the California Zephyr heading from Chicago to Oakland, California, said Amtrak spokeswoman Cheryle Jackson in Chicago.
Amtrak said that 263 people were on board. Two locomotives werepulling 15 cars, including seven passenger cars.
