Mexico City, Mexico & Irvine, Calif.– BAX Global will expand its overnight distribution capabilities between Mexico, the USA and Canada by adding an additional air cargo flight into Mexico starting October 15, 2007 using the Quertaro airport.
Serving the industrial area known as the Bajio market, the overnight flight will provide companies earlier freight arrival and a later departure times than previously offered in the market, said BAX.
“Now customers in the growing industrial markets of Quertaro, San Luis Potos, Celaya, Len, Silo and the Northern part of Mexico City, can enjoy true overnight service to and from the U.S. and Canada with cut off times that meet the market’s production needs and demands,” according to Kurt Kleinfeldt, Managing Director of BAX Mexico.
Strong customer demand allowed us to add this new lane segment to our overnight scheduled integrated system, he added.
Manufacturers in the Bajio region can increase their facilities production capabilities because they will no longer have to truck their freight to or from either Guadalajara or Mexico City airports.
This will save many hours transporting goods and materials into and out of their plants, said Kleinfeldt.
