BDP International strengthens position in western Europe with new partnership

BDP International, a global logistics and transportation services provider headquartered in Philadelphia, Pa., has formed a strategic alliance with Ziegler to boost its service offerings for clients doing business in continental Europe.

BDP International operates freight logistics facilities in more than 20 cities throughout North America and a network of wholly owned subsidiaries, joint ventures and strategic partnerships in nearly 100 countries.

Based in Brussels, the Ziegler Network provides multi-modal transport (road haulage, air and sea freight) and logistics. With more than 6,000 staff members and 260 operational sites, the group has developed activities across Europe.

Ziegler maintains more than nine million square feet of dedicated warehousing space, sited strategically throughout Europe.

BDP International serves more than 4,000 customers worldwide. The company provides a range of services, including ocean, air and ground transportation, export freight forwarding, import customs brokerage and regulatory compliance, project/dimensional (oversized shipment) services, warehousing/consolidation/distribution, logistics
process analysis and design, and shipment and order tracking/tracing systems.
