Canadian Pallet Council announces new Board of Directors for 2006

Cobourg, ON–The Canadian Pallet Council (CPC) has announced its new Board of Directors and Executive Committee for 2006-2007.

The CPC has also announced that Bruce Toal, Senior Director National Procurement Supply Chain, Loblaw Companies Ltd., is the new Chair of the Canadian Pallet Council. Toal replaces Diane Fitzgerald of Vincor International who has successfully filled the Chair’s position since Ed Treacy left for an opportunity in the US. The CPC would like to take this occasion to thank both Fitzgerald and Treacy for their outstanding contributions in this challenging role.

The new board has members from some of Canada’s most recognized companies including: A&P, A. Lassonde, Atlantic Packaging, Coca-Cola, Loblaws, Sobeys, Maple Leaf Foods, McCain Foods, Saputo, SYSCO Canada, Tim Hortons and Vincor International. The caliber and breadth of the 2006 2007 Board confirms the importance of the CPC and the valuable services it provides.
