Celarix releases new software for ocean carriers

Celarix, Inc. has released Celarix Rate Explorer 8.0(R), a Web-based solution for ocean carriers designed to improve pricing, contract and tariff management.

More than 300 functional enhancements have been made to the most recent version of Rate Explorer, including a new Web-based user interface, Cambridge, Mass.-headquartered Celarix says.

Celarix Rate Explorer is being used by many of the largest ocean carriers in the world to manage service contracts in a calculable format to achieve improved rating productivity, accuracy and business intelligence. The complete solution allows carriers to manage service contract negotiations, eliminate rating errors and improve productivity by auto-calculating contracts, maintaining rate histories, and auto-rating bookings and bills-of-lading (BOL).
