CITT announces new scholarship

TORONTO, Ont. — CITT has announced the addition of another scholarship to its lineup of academic bursaries.

The Transportation Law Scholarship is worth $500 and is available to a candidate who wishes to take CITT’s Transportation Law course.

The scholarship was donated by William S.G. Tackaberry, CITT, of TCRC Freight Legal Services.

“My company is providing this scholarship in Transportation Law as a recognition of the importance of this area in the educational development of the logistics practitioner,” Tackaberry said.

Tackaberry is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and is also the CEO of a load brokerage company. In addition to having served on the CITT’s Toronto Area Council and on the National Board, Tackaberry was also a past Honorary President of CITT.
