Clarke appoints new board members

Clarke Inc. has appointed George Armoyan and James David Meekison To its Board of Directors.

Armoyan is President of Halifax-based Geosam Investments Limited, a privately held investment company. He is also Chairman of the Board of Armco Capital Corp., a real estate development company, and is managing partner of Scotia Learning Centres Inc., which owns and operates 13 public schools in Nova Scotia.

Armoyan is an engineer with an extensive background in acquisition, development and management of residential and commercial real estate properties.

Meekison is the Chairman of Trimin Capital Corp., a Vancouver-based management company with holdings in a diversified portfolio of companies.

Formerly, he was Chairman and President of Fusion Capital Limited and Chairman of Tritech Precision Inc., an automotive parts manufacturing company. As well, he was Director and Chairman of Cablecasting Limited, which he founded in 1969. Mr. Meekison holds an MBA from Harvard University, with corporate finance experience at Nesbitt Thomson Limited (now Nesbitt Burns) and E.F. Hutton Inc.
