by Canadian Shipper

Canadian Transportation & Logistics magazine (CT&L)is launching its first annual Survey of Canadian Third-Party Logistics.

CT&L is partnering with the Canadian Institute of Traffic and Transportation (C.I.T.T) and Supply Chain & Logistics Canada (SCL) to produce this first comprehensive study of third-party logistics service use across Canadian industries.

The survey will identify and prioritize the services Canadian companies outsource, benchmark service improvements in key areas, quantify customer satisfaction levels and provide insight into future trends.

Survey highlights will be printed in CT&L’s October issue. They will also be presented at upcoming association events.

All those partipating in the survey, due out shortly, will receive the full survey results in advance of their printing, free of charge. They will also be entered into a draw for a digital camera, the highly-acclaimed Transportation, Distribution & Logistics: A Canadian Perspective, Volumes I and II, a valuable source for information for anyone involved in logistics, and more.

This is the fourth major survey, CT&L has undertaken this year. Other surveys include the Survey of the Logistics Professional, conducted in partnership with TSI Group, SCL and The Laurier Institute of Wilfrid Laurier University; the Survey of Technology Priorities for Carriers and Shippers, conducted in partnership with the Schulich School of Business of York University; and the Shipper’s Choice Awards Survey.
