Danzas forges partnership with Lemuir Group in India

Danzas, the logistics subsidiary of Deutsche Post World Net, and Lemuir Group officially signed the joint venture agreement to form a new entity called Danzas Lemuir Pvt Ltd in India.

The new company, in which Danzas and Lemuir Group hold 49% and 51% stake respectively, is the result of a long-standing business relationship.

Headquartered in Mumbai, Danzas Lemuir has a combined workforce of 367 in a total of 15 offices and warehousing facilities covering Mumbai, Goa, Pune, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Aurangabad, Delhi, Agra, Moradabad, Kanpur, Ludhiana, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore.

Under the agreement, Danzas Lemuir will provide businesses across India with an easy access to a full portfolio of one-stop supply chain solutions including air and ocean freight, LCL (Less than Container Load) consolidation to and from India, and customs clearance. The key markets are Automotive, Healthcare, Electronics and Fast Moving Consumer Goods. Customs clearance and warehousing & distribution services will be provided through close cooperation with Lee & Muirhead Ltd (Lemuir Group).

Snehal Parikh, Managing Director of the Lemuir Group will be the Chairman under the joint venture, with Trevorlyn Menezes from Danzas as Chief Executive Officer.
