DHL expands North American logistics network

DHL has expanded its integrated service parts business in the North American market following the opening of over 50 new Strategic Parts Centres (SPCs) in the United States, Canada, and Latin America, bringing the total number of SPCs operated by DHL to 125 in the region.
DHL also opened its new Logistics Customer Service Centre in Virginia which utilises advanced IT solutions to provide a single point of contact for all inbound calls to SPC Network dispatch, customer service and next-flight-out (NFO) shipments, reports schednet.com.
In addition, DHL is partnering with Apple Express, a Canadian transportation and logistics company, to provide warehousing and time critical transportation services to its Canadian customers.
