Ex-Canadian Customs Official joins ViaSafe E-Global Logistics

Oryst Dydynsky, having recently completed a 30-year career with the Canada Customs & Revenue Agency (CCRA), has joined ViaSafe where he will assume the role of President, International Trade Services.

Dydynsky will be responsible for ViaSafe’s consulting practice for international trade document and business processes and to expand the range of myViaSafe’s e-Global logistics technology.

While at the CCRA, Dydynsky worked in their global trade and logistics business unit where he spearheaded numerous customs programs designed to streamline the
movement of imported goods into Canada.

Those programs include the Pre-Arrival Review System (PARS), the Frequent Importer Release System (FIRST) and was part of the team that developed the soon to be implemented Customs Self Assessment (CSA).
