Fastrax offers new intermodal services

Fastrax Transportation, the truckload division of the Day & Ross Transportation Group, is now offering Intermodal Services to their customers through Canadian National (CN) rail services.

Fastrax has acquired dry and refrigerated containers to move cargo domestically throughout Canada using CN rail as the linehaul carrier from city to city.
“Fastrax realizes that customers are continually looking for different shipping options. The fact that we can ‘double-stack’ containers allows us to provide an economical and consistent truckload service throughout Canada,” said Brian Murray, president, Fastrax Transportation.

The service, which debuted mid-May, focuses on routes from Toronto, to and from Calgary and Winnipeg, and is expected to expand, by July 1, to include routes from Toronto, to and from the Maritimes.
