GeoLogistics Canada Promotes Sagrati to VP Supply Chain
GeoLogistics’ Canadian Board of Directors has promoted Sandro Sagrati to the newly created position of Vice President, Supply Chain Services for GeoLogistics Canada, a unit of GeoLogistics Corporation.
Sagrati will lead the company’s newly formed Supply Chain division within Canada. Sagrati holds managerial responsibility for the company’s third-party logistics (3PL) business development as well as management of three of the company’s facilities in the Toronto, Ontario area. Sagrati will also coordinate closely with regional and branch management of GeoLogistics Canada.
“GeoLogistics’ 3PL business within Canada has grown substantially over the past few years. Much of this growth can be directly attributed to the hard work and commitment demonstrated by Sagrati,” stated Peter Schwerdt, President of GeoLogistics Canada. “Sagrati is a high profile speaker for GeoLogistics and is thoroughly knowledgeable about integrated IT solutions for our very sophisticated customer base. He’s also a valuable teacher to our company sales team and other personnel,” Schwerdt said.
Sagrati reports to Schwerdt, and is based at GeoLogistics Canada headquarters in Toronto. Sagrati is a freight forwarding industry veteran with more than 20 years experience, after having joined GeoLogistics, formerly LEP International, in 1980 as a warehouse operator.
