Hamburg, Germany-based company GloMaP.com is expanding after launching an internet-based marketplace and shipping platform for international sea trading this June, reports Schednet.com.
The company is now looking to expand its sphere of influence, after more than 5,000 customers from more than 120 countries have signed up with GloMaP at www.glomap.com in the first 12 months of its operation.
Apart from the main offices in Hamburg and Seoul, the company has representative offices in Australia, India, Pakistan, Scandinavia, Italy, and North and South America. An agency agreement is also in place with partners in Greece and in Israel.
Turnover already covers 25 per cent of all investment, including software design, software development, the running of the marketplace and international representatives.
GloMaP.com is also now offering an online tender tool for the management of large contracts exclusively with permanent business partners. This new feature makes it possible to negotiate transport contracts containing numerous and very complex clauses, such as yearly contracts of containerised cargoes or bigger break-bulk or project cargoes, via the Internet.
