Hub Group Canada names John Mann director of supply chain

Hub Group, Inc. has named John Mann as director of Supply Chain Solutions for its Canadian unit.

This new operation of Hub Group Canada was established to support Hub Group’s initiative to provide fully integrated,single source logistics to its customers. In his new position, Mann will be responsible for marketing,sales and development of this fast-growing business segment. His focus will be on modal optimization,carrier management, distribution strategies, LTL consolidation,warehousing and inventory management.

Mann brings 15 years of logistics experience to the job. Previously, Mann was vicepresident of marketing & sales for Dewolf Transportation, in Toronto, since 1999. Prior to that, he was director of sales & marketing for Concord Transportation from 1992-1999, where he was responsible for the development and implementation of a significant US/Canadian trans-border service offering. He also served as national sales manager from 1986-1992 for Intercity Truck Lines.
