Identec Solutions acquires Baumer Ident

Lustenau, Austria and Kelowna, CanadaIdentec Solutions, a global supplier of industrial RFID-based tracking and tracing solutions, has announced the acquisition of BAUMER IDENT GmbH. Located in Weinheim, Germany, BAUMER IDENT is a global manufacturer of industrial Auto-ID systems with focus in the Automobile Sector.

The purchase of BAUMER IDENT, a full subsidiary of BAUMER Holding AG (located in Frauenfeld, Switzerland), is another crucial step in IDENTEC SOLUTIONS’ expansion into global market leadership for industrial RFID solutions, the company says.
