Joint round the world service improved

by Canadian Shipper

CMA CGM, Contship and Marfret are making several modifications to their joint Round The World (RTW) service, adding a ninth vessel to the fleet improving the service frequency from 11 days to 10 days. This introduction has increased the service capacity and enables VSA Lines to better serve their customers in both the southbound and northbound trades, reports Schednet.com.

A further adjustment to the schedule will allow new direct calls at Hamburg, Kingston, and Manzanillo, to assist the VSA Lines in delivering a better service package and new gateways to and from the relevant regional markets.

The relevan enhancements are part of a continuous review VSA Lines is conducting in order to improve the RTW service product quality and make sure it fulfills the requirements of customers for new market connections and improved frequency.
