Joint venture proposed between Air Foyle Ltd. and Heavylift Cargo Airlines Ltd.

Air Foyle and HeavyLift have agreed in principle to form a joint venture to promote, market and sell, on a worldwide bases, commercial charters of all aircraft operated by Antonov Airlines, based in Kiev.

The joint venture will be called Antonov Airlines (UK) and will comprise board members from both Air Foyle and HeavyLift. All of the outsize cargo activities of both Air Foyle and HeavyLift will be merged under the new identity.

“The opportunities to expand the outsize cargo market within the rapidly growing general air cargo market are enormous. We are delighted to be joining forces in this way,” said Christopher Foyle, chairman of Air Foyle.
