Toronto, Ont.–Kinedyne Canada Limited has announced the newest addition to the Kinedyne team: Jim Hillis, Product Manager for the SteadymateTM line. “Kinedyne prides itself on demonstrating excellence in engineering, manufacturing, distribution, and customer service.” says Larry Harrison, General Manager “With Jim representing the complete SteadymateTM line, we know we will be able to continue our practice of exceeding our customer’s expectations. We welcome Jim to the team and look forward to learning from his knowledge and experience.”
Jim Hillis joins Kinedyne after working at a large warehouse distributor in the automotive industry. Hillis proved himself to be an innovative and valuable contributor to the company by creating and managing its Automotive and Heavy Duty sales program. During his employment, he also succeeded in the building and development of five remote branch locations and was involved in launching Canada’s first Automotive Marketing program for a major buying group, said Harrison.
Beyond his professional accomplishment, Hillis is also a respected member of the community. Proudly, he served three terms on the HDDC (Heavy Duty District Council) and co-founded the “Time out for the Children” Foundation, which has raised over $100,000 for Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children in recent years. He currently sits on a provincial government committee, which is studying business growth and retention for Northern Ontario communities.
As the SteadymateTM Product Manager, Jim will be responsible for its performance, brand and image, market research, and the marketing and sales initiatives.
