Livingston International Inc.’s Consultrans ops upgrades ISO certification

Consultrans’ dispatch operation has upgraded to ISO 9001:2000 certification, said Stephen Rowe, senior vice-president of Livingston International’s North American ground transportation management operation.

“ISO certification gives comfort to clients. It lets them know we are set up to serve them,” he said.

The main difference from the earlier certification is the “heightened focus on customer satisfaction, the need to make sure that all our processes work toward that end. It was mostly a question of revising the manual and training the many employees we have integrated since Livingston International acquired our division more than a year ago,” he said.
