Maritime-Ontario Freight Lines Ltd. requalifies as one of Canada’s 50 best managed Companies (January 20, 2005)

Maritime-Ontario Freight Lines Limited (M-O) says it has requalified as one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies for 2004.

The 50 Best Managed program is designed to recognize companies that have implemented best business practices, are growing rapidly and are excelling in the global marketplace. M-O was a winner of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies Program in 2003.

Previous 50 Best Managed winners have an additional two years to use their 50 Best Managed designation, providing they successfully meet the requalification criteria. This year, M-O was amongst a total of 89 companies who were awarded requalification status.

“All of us at M-O are honoured to be considered one of the 50 best managed companies in Canada,” said M-O President, Doug Munro. “This award is a tribute to our team who has clearly demonstrated innovation, leadership and the drive to exceed customer expectations at every opportunity."

According to the 50 Best judging panel, the award symbolizes Canadian success – companies that know how to win and create value in innovative ways and companies that are evolving, yet staying focused on their core vision.
