MISC and OOCL to offer new coordinated European service

Malaysia International Shipping Corp. (MISC) and Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) are combining forces to introduce a new coordinated service between ports in Europe.

The new service, called Iberia Scar Express (ISX) will see MISC provide two vessels of 736 TEU each, while OOCL will contribute one vessel with a carrying capacity of 600 TEU. As part of the cooperation, MISC and OOCL will exchange slots on the three vessels.

The ISX will commence its first northbound sailing from Lisbon on September 2nd. The first southbound sailing will depart Gdansk on September 5th.
