Muir’s cartage awarded top carrier honors from Home Depot
Toronto-headquartered Muir’s Cartage Limited was recently honored by The Home Depot with a "Gold" award for "Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) Carrier of the Year" for 2000.
The award was presented to Muir’s at The Home Depot’s annual Core Carrier Conference in Atlanta.
This is the third consecutive year that Muir’s has been honored with the "LTL Carrier of the Year" award from The Home Depot, culminating with the receipt of the Gold Medal Award for 2000.
Home Depot’s Wayne Gibson, Senior Vice President Global Servicing and Logistics, Lee Bandelow, Vice President Logistics, Bruce Oswald, LTL Manager, and Greg Doyle, Regional Transportation Manager, Canadian Division presented the Gold award to Muir’s Cartage President Richard Muir and Vice President and General Manager, Mark Alden.
Muir’s provides a customized consolidation and dedicated store delivery program, which entails moving thousands of shipments on a daily basis from Home Depot vendors in Canada to all of The Home Depot’s stores in Ontario and Quebec. They have been servicing The Home Depot in Canada since 1991.
