New Internet software for customs brokerage data exchange
Toronto’s Logistics Software Corp. has released its Customs Internet Gateway Exchange software for the secure exchange of data over the Internet for the customs brokerage and import industry.
Approved as a certified solution by the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency, the Windows NT/2000 client application replaces existing dedicated CADEX lines or service bureaus by seamlessly integrating existing CADEX, CUSDEC, ACROSS, and RNS ready applications to the Internet, Tony Le Piane of Logistics Software Corp.says.
The exchange of customs data between the client and Revenue Canada occurs via a Secured Message Loop where data is signed, encrypted, and reciprocally decrypted and verified whenever data is transmitted. All Internet transactions are logged and are available via on-line inquiries and reporting capabilities.
"This robust e-business application offers a variety of other user friendly features, is easily integrated, and most importantly, requires absolutely no changes to current business operations," comments Le Piane.
