NFI Canada expands with new Brampton distribution centre

BRAMPTON, Ont. — NFI Canada has expanded with a new distribution centre in Brampton, Ont. With nearly 250,000 sq. ft., the addition brings NFI’s warehousing and distribution footprint to well over 20 million sq. ft. of warehouse space.

The facility in Brampton is a state-of-the-art food grade and bonded warehouse, which officials say is a strategic move to increase NFI’s footprint in North America.

“We continue to increase our footprint in Canada and further enhance our cross border capacity and capabilities,” said Sidney Brown, CEO of NFI. “NFI Canada provides a vast network of integrated logistics services and supply chain solutions for any tenant of our Brampton location.”

The Brampton warehouse is equipped with metal Halide lighting, sky lights and environmentally friendly systems designed to operate the building more efficiently. Value-added services at the location include transportation, warehousing, packaging, fulfillment operations and pick and pack operations, according to NFI officials.
