Old Dominion moves to larger Cincinnati service centre

CINCINNATI, Ohio — Old Dominion Freight Line has relocated its Cincinnati service centre to a larger facility that will serve customers in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. The upgraded terminal, located at 6431 Centre Park Drive, has increased in size from 46 to 157 doors.

The relocation is part of a $95 million investment Old Dominion has committed to real estate purchases and expansion projects in 2013.

“Old Dominion has seen a lot of growth in Cincinnati. By expanding our capacity, we are better prepared to take on more customers in the region,” said Brian Houser, manager of the Cincinnati Service Center. “The bigger facility will allow us to improve our industry-leading claims ratio and continue our commitment to premium customer service.”

Old Dominion has maintained a presence in Cincinnati since 1993. With 90 employees, the service centre is accessible to Interstates 71, 74 and 75.

The terminal’s coverage area includes eight Ohio cities (Cincinnati, Harrison, Hamilton, Fairfield, Middletown, Mason, Lebanon and Batavia), four Kentucky cities (Florence, Erlanger, Hebron and Maysville) and three cities in Indiana (Batesville, Lawrenceburg and Brookville).
