Pegasus project to boost NYK

NYK is launching its `Pegasus project’, a new e-commerce system that will enable its customers monitoring and online interaction of the logistics of their cargo shipments.

NYK currently has available online cargo tracing and schedule inquiry, and will begin printing of Bills of Lading for North American export cargo this month. The same capability will be available in Europe and Asia/Oceania within the second quarter.

Additional automated online services will become available on the NYK web site throughout the year to eventually provide complete global supply-chain management services, including rate inquiries, schedules, booking, cargo tracking, cargo status notification and customized reporting.
