Pharmaceutical logistics provider VDI Rep-Pharm relocates to Oakville (August 23, 2001)

VDI Rep-Pharm, a provider of third party logistics to the Canadian pharmaceutical and packaged goods industry, has moved its Burlington-based operation to a 46,000 sq. ft. facility in West Oakville.
The new 46,000 sq. ft. facility, which is run with a PALM-based warehouse management systems, offers VDI a 28 ft. clear ceiling height providing the logistics firm with the ability to store over 50 percent more product. Other benefits of the new building include additional loading docks and direct access to the QEW.
The site selection was handled by Chambers Hall Real Estate Inc.
Since its inception in 1995, VDI Rep-Pharm has grown dramatically. Starting with a staff of two in a humble 1,500 sq. ft. unit, the company now has more than 30 staff and boasts a growing domestic and international clientele. Services offered include the management of product, information, literature, fulfillment, sampling programs and clinical trials management.
