CAIRO, Egypt — Heavy-lift, over-dimensional, 3PL specialists, the Project Professionals Group, has oiled its transportation wheels in the Middle East and Africa with the appointment of new members in Egypt and Syria.
PPG general manager Kevin Stephens said the appointments recognised the importance of the Middle East and Africa as regional and global distribution and transhipment hubs.
Yamintrans, based in Damascus, is the new member in Syria with Horus Shipping & Transport S.A.E, with its headquarters in Cairo, appointed to represent the PPG in Egypt.
“These appointments further expand the PPG network throughout the Middle East and Africa and offer clients proven expertise in project logistics and petrochemical logistics,” Stephens said.
“Having a strong network in both the Middle East and Africa is critical for our members in other parts of the world where manufacturers demand a reliable pathway that ensures safe delivery of plant and equipment.”
The PPG is now represented by 140 member offices in 93 countries
The network’s annual conference will be held in Antwerp from June 30 to July 3 and has attracted 115 registrations.
