Purolator Courier U.S. Ltd. announces personnel changes to meet growth

Purolator Courier U.S. Ltd. has announced realignments of its Sales and Service Quality divisions, several appointments and three new hires to better meet customer needs in light of its 25% growth in 2003.

The changes include realigning the sales force, led by Conal E. Finnegan, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, under four service areas: Retail (direct to customer), Wholesale Networks, Supply Chain Optimization, Mail and Parcel Services. Further restructuring inside Retail Sales will ensure a personal point of contact for customers across geographic regions (Western, Central and Eastern) and within top industry segments (automotive parts and equipment, industrial equipment and consumer manufactured goods).

In addition, a newly created Service Quality and Logistics Division will allow Purolator to better utilize its resources and expertise to design tailored logistics solutions for customers. Led by Allen Meier, Director of Service Quality and Logistics, the group will serve key regions and offer expertise in major growth areas – ground package, LTL, TL and Air Linehaul Services. Don Conway joins this team as Eastern Regional Manager of Service Quality and Logistics.

Other recent appointments will enhance the company’s operations infrastructure and administrative support services. These include: Arthur Medina as Manager of Corporate Business Development, Emilia Burns-Kyff as Director of Finance and Administration and Nicole Knowlton as Director of Marketing.

Purolator U.S. Ltd. is the U.S.-based logistics arm of Purolator Courier Ltd. The company specializes in providing end-to-end supply chain solutions to U.S. companies interested in marketing their products to the Canadian market.
