Purolator USA expands Canadian service

JERICHO, N.Y. — Purolator USA has expanded its service to the Canadian border. Purolator, which maintains a full service processing centre in Los Angeles, is now operating dual linehauls – via air and ground – to its Chicago and Seattle induction facilities.

“Businesses across the region are realizing the economic potential of the Canadian market, and Purolator is helping to make the cross border logistics process as seamless and efficient as possible,” says Los Angeles branch manager, Santino Anderson. “Our expedited service to the border means that Purolator shipments arrive at the border, navigate the customs clearance process, and move into their Canadian distribution network faster than shipments processed by most competitors. This is a tremendous time saver for our customers.”

With almost $18 billion in goods being exported from California to Canada last year, Purolator USA says its strong Canadian presence can help US shipments reach their final destination by avoiding a costly and time-consuming distribution centre stopover.

“Our DC Bypass capabilities, along with our consolidation services can shave several days off a typical distribution calendar. With so many of our customers still feeling the effects of the economic recession, Purolator has some great services available to help control costs,” Anderson said. “Our goal is to offer customers the logistics plan they need at a price they can afford, with a level of customer service that exceeds their expectations.”
