Rosedale Group equips trailers with tracking and monitoring systems

The Rosedale Group, providers of less-than-truckload and truckload service within Canada and the U.S., is equipping 400 of its trailers with Terion’s FleetView trailer tracking and monitoring system.

The FleetView system will enable Rosedale to capture trailer location, load status and comprehensive utilization information.

The carrier said increasing the utilization of its trailers and enhancing productivity were key factors in its decision to acquire the FleetView system.

“Given that many of our customers are involved with just-in-time shipping, having up-to-date status information to provide them is critical. With FleetView, drivers delivering crucial shipments can focus on the delivery without making stops and taking the time to call dispatch with regular updates,” said Rolly Uloth, president of the Rosedale Group.
