Ryder introduces free language translation services for customers

MIAMI, Fla.– Ryder announced that it has partnered with telephone interpretation service, Language Select, to provide seamless communications in over 200 different languages for its pre-owned vehicle customers. Customers call 1-800-USED-TRK (1-800-873-3875) and Ryder will bring a Language Select interpreter on the line. Customer’s vehicle needs will then be clearly translated to a Ryder sales representative, and the appropriate pre-owned vehicle solution will be clearly translated back. The service is available during the operating hours of Ryder’s Used Truck Centers.
“Language should not be a barrier to ensuring we provide the best pre-owned vehicle solution to our diverse base of customers across the globe,” said Ryder Vice President of Asset Management and Vehicle Sales, Eugene Tangney. “With our free telephone translation service, our customers can be confident that we speak their language when it comes to finding a quality and affordable used commercial vehicles.”
Ryder’s pre-owned vehicle inventory includes commercial and heavy-duty vehicles including tractors, trailers, straight trucks, panel and cube vans, refrigerated trucks, and stake trucks.
