Schenker going the distance with international athletic events

Schenker is flexing its muscles once again.

After serving as the official supplier of freight forwarding services to the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, Schenker has now been named the exclusive provider of customs, freight forwarding and materials handling for the Edmonton 2001 World Championships in Athletics to be held this August.

And in 2002 Schenker Canada will pass the batton on to Schenker’s U.S. subsidiary, which has been named the official supplier of customs and freight forwarding services for the Salt Lake City Olympic Winter Games.

Schenker’s U.S. organization will also contribute its services to the 2002 Paralympic Winter Games and be a supplier to the U.S. Olympic team through 2004.
