Schneider Logistics to provide supply chain services to Blue Ridge Paper

Schneider Logistics, Inc. has reached an agreement with Blue Ridge Paper to provide them with a fully outsourced supply chain solution through shipment planning, routing and carrier management. Schneider Logistics will manage a multi-modal transportation network of inbound and outbound freight for Blue Ridge Paper’s 8 manufacturing facilities throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Based in Asheville, N.C., Blue Ridge Paper is a producer of packaging and paper for the food service industry, and the second largest U.S. producer of milk and juice containers.

Under terms of the agreement, Blue Ridge Paper will leverage Schneider Logistics’ MySUMIT suite of applications to streamline operations and provide full supply chain visibility to Blue Ridge Paper, its customers and carriers. Schneider Logistics services include order management, shipment planning, carrier management, claims administration, performance reporting and network engineering.
